After completing a bachelors degree in zoology I decided to turn my attention towards working with people. This led me to getting licensed in massage, then certified in levels 1 and 2 of Reiki, and then wishing to deepen my understanding of energy healing and its possibilities, I completed a 3 year long intensive Shamanic Practitioner Training in Essential Shamanism under Julie Kramer.

Being initiated into Shamanism has felt like home to me. A shaman in indigenous cultures throughout the world was the person in a community who was able to touch in with the “unseen realm” or “non-ordinary reality” and bring wisdom, guidance, and healing back from the spirits there to help the people around them. Learning to tap into this gift within myself has been a blessing and a responsibility I hold with tenderness and integrity. The foundation of my practice has been formed by developing trusted relationships with benevolent spirit guides from my own personal lineages, learning directly from them and my teacher Julie Kramer. Learning to tune into them and actively collaborate with their skill, wisdom, and magic is a gift.

Shamanism is the most transformative and helpful tool I have found for myself in both healing from my past and reaching for my future and I feel so passionate about sharing it with others.
